What You'll Learn
Course Description
Our Keyboard Classes take students from reading their very first notes to confidently playing complete songs. Beginners learn note names, finger numbering, hand position, rhythm, and basic music theory, then quickly apply it to simple melodies so progress is heard from the early weeks.
As students advance, the curriculum branches into both classical pieces and contemporary styles — chords, arpeggios, scales, and accompaniment patterns — so learners can play film songs, pop, or graded exam repertoire. Those who wish can prepare for recognised Trinity or ABRSM examinations alongside their regular learning.
Key Benefits
- Read sheet music and understand fundamental music theory
- Develop independent left- and right-hand coordination
- Play full songs across classical and contemporary styles
- Learn chords, scales, and arpeggios to accompany singing
- Option to prepare for graded Trinity or ABRSM examinations
