About This Program

What You'll Learn

Course Description

Kriyas, the shatkarma or six cleansing actions of Hatha Yoga, prepare the body for deeper practice by purifying its internal systems. This course introduces the classical techniques in a safe, graded sequence: Jala Neti (nasal cleansing with saline), Kapalabhati (frontal-brain breath cleansing), Trataka, Nauli (abdominal churning), Agnisar, and an introduction to Dhauti and Basti principles.

Because kriyas are powerful and technique-sensitive, every practice is taught hands-on and supervised, with attention to contraindications and individual constitution. You will learn correct preparation, hygiene, sequencing, and how often each kriya should be done, leaving with a personalised cleansing routine you can sustain safely at home.

Key Benefits

  • Clear the nasal passages and sinuses through proper Jala Neti technique
  • Strengthen and tone the abdominal organs with Nauli and Agnisar
  • Improve respiratory capacity and mental clarity via Kapalabhati
  • Learn the correct hygiene, frequency, and contraindications for each kriya
  • Establish a safe, personalised home cleansing routine
FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

Still have questions? We're here to help you choose the right program for your journey.

01Are kriyas safe to learn on my own from videos?
Several kriyas like Nauli and Dhauti carry real risk if done incorrectly, which is why this course is in-studio and supervised. We strongly advise learning them in person first.
02Will I need to buy any equipment?
You will need a neti pot and non-iodised salt for nasal cleansing, which we help you source. Other kriyas need no equipment.
03I have high blood pressure / am pregnant. Can I still join?
Some kriyas are contraindicated for these conditions. Please tell us in advance; the teacher will modify your practice or recommend waiting until it is appropriate.
04What is the best time of day to practise kriyas?
Early morning on an empty stomach is ideal, which is why sessions are scheduled before breakfast. We explain timing for each technique.
