About This Program

What You'll Learn

Course Description

Mudras are precise hand and finger gestures that the yogic tradition regards as circuits for prana, the subtle life-force. In this course you will learn the foundational hasta mudras such as Gyan, Chin, Prana, Apana, Vayu and Surya, understanding not just how to form each one but why each finger represents a specific element and how holding a gesture redirects energy through the nadis.

Each session pairs mudra practice with quiet breath awareness so the gestures move from mechanical to felt experience. You will keep a personal practice log, learn which mudras suit morning energy versus evening calm, and finish able to weave a short daily mudra routine into your own meditation or pranayama sitting.

Key Benefits

  • Learn 12+ classical hasta mudras and their elemental associations
  • Use specific gestures to calm anxiety, aid digestion, or steady the breath
  • Deepen concentration during seated meditation and pranayama
  • Build a portable practice needing no props and only a few minutes a day
  • Understand the five-element (pancha bhuta) theory behind each gesture
FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

Still have questions? We're here to help you choose the right program for your journey.

01Do I need prior yoga or meditation experience to join?
No. Mudras are gentle and accessible to complete beginners. A basic comfort sitting still for a few minutes is all that helps.
02Can I practice mudras if I have arthritis or limited hand mobility?
Yes. We teach modified hand positions and seated variations, and the teacher will adapt gestures to your range of comfort.
03How long should I hold each mudra to feel an effect?
Most mudras are held for 5 to 15 minutes. We start short and build duration gradually as your hands and attention adapt.
